Events and Conferences
“Breathe California Central Coast has hosted a major professional medical conference at the Inn on Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach for 14 years. Typically the educational content addresses pulmonary health, and the curriculum is designed to attract licensed medical professionals including physicians, nurses, nurse-practitioners and respiratory therapists from across the region. Attendees receive continuing medical educational credit for their full participation and the educational content is developed by a Conference Committee representing a cross-section of medical professionals and educators with an interest in improving the knowledge and skills of our practitioners concerning lung-health, especially chronic or disabling health conditions amenable to the chronic disease management model.
Our 2008 Medical Conference is scheduled for Friday, November 21st at the beautiful Monterey Plaza Hotel on Cannery Row. Our topic this year is "Asthma and our Environment". From time to time, BCCC also sponsors smaller continuing medical educational (CME) events in the evenings geared to the needs of local medical practitioners.
